I saw probably 15 at a car meet in the dc area a few months ago. Personally I think itās the best car in bmwās current lineup so Iām not surprised Iām seeing a lot of them.
There were only ~400 allocations for the US and they were next to impossible to get if you didn't have a relationship with a dealer with an allocation. It's not like there are lot of them out there to even see. If you're seeing 15 in the DC area, that's probably a good portion of all of the ones from dealer allocations in the area. BMW of Alexandria probably had a bulk of them.

Yea that guy seemed to imply government contracting and working for the government are the same. In the northern Virginia/dc area almost everyone who works in tech works for a government contractor. The jobs are plentiful and lucrative. This is one of (if not the) wealthiest areas in the country for a reason.

This pair is one of those instances where I like an item purely because it's Supreme. If it wasn't Supreme I'd say these were hideous. So I have conflicting thoughts about these. The black pair would be cool with my black bandana box logo hoodie though.

This might sound silly to anyone that never skated, but street skating is done in places like Freedom Plaza (Pulaski), not in a skatepark. It wouldn't be the same.
Plus Iāve never seen a scooter on the plaza. Go to a skatepark and tell me the same lol
I typically see maybe 5-10 people skating in the NE corner of the square, which isnāt a super compelling reason to preserve the entire square as it is. You could make 1/4 of it a skate park and the other 3/4 things that other people in the city would want to use, and I donāt really see what the downside would be.
All it would really take to make this place friendlier to all would be some trees, a little more greenery, and some benches. If any of you have ever skated there in the summer you know itās hot as balls with the sun beating down on you, no sane pedestrian would want to hangout there as it currently stands.
