Its a really interesting question from a psychology angle. Several options could be the cause but I postulate that the there are two main drivers at play (viewpoints - self/other): the individual may not be comfortable with taking selfies type pic especially with the goal of posting to a sub filled with strangers and thus adding a hand gesture that communicates intent can be a coping/reassuring measure taken. The desire to communicate something then, its subtext if you will, is that the individual desire to project/communicate (coupled with corresponding facial signals: humble looking smile) a non-threatening message to ensure that the pic isnt misunderstood and thus to de-escalate any potential for negative comments by creating, via body language, a display to the viewer “Peace be with you” type deal. Also I could be full of shit. Peace be with you.

I love VET, but I do not believe it is the solution for current supply chain failings.
I have to admit, after all the bumpy road from April. A massive dump on July to hold all that bag all the way trough now, was quite a ride. But here we are boys and girls. Enjoy the moment and good luck to you all!

Cardano should cut its losses and start migrating to Solana; i.e., “can’t beat em, join em” approach. We need some consolidation in the crypto space. There’s no reason to splinter blockchain/smart contract talent up across a dozen or more projects.

I’ve always followed the same pattern, when my investment doubles I take out half into btc and store it (or reinvest in something else sometimes), I don’t think sol is near top yet..

I recently talked to someone who is a very knowledgeable financial investor/advisor and into crypto since 2011. He told me that the forthcoming CBDCs will use Alogrand's and probably Solana's blockchain as well. I've heard that about Algo but not about Sol. Does anyone know anything about it?
