1. What happened in the first place? Where did you send the ETH?

  2. I accidentally used my Bittrex ETC wallet as receiving address, but sent ETH to it.

  3. Unfortunately, the only way they can recover them is by using their ETC private key and manually recovering them for you in their ETH wallet which is likely why they are wanting to charge you a fee to do it. That sucks. I've made similar mistakes but at least they are willing to recover it. Crappy way to learn to be more careful and check everything 2,3,4,5 times...
