  1. Of the 3 I would go with a 3776, although my VP is steel nibbed, so I cannot speak to the gold nib versions. Between the 3776 and 74 my 3776 has not had 1 issue with starting, drying out ir really anything to prevent it from writing, it has a very pleasant feedback that let's me know I am on the paper without feeling as though it is dragging. The 74 has been a bit hit or miss with me, while the nib feels smoother with a bit less feedback, it seems to need a little more pressure to keep it consistent, which isn't a big deal for me, but I like the effortlessness of the 3776 more. And with the VP, I love it, but the nib makes an almost zipping noise as it glides over the paper, not super loud, but enough to be commented on. And lastly the grip on the VP is a love or hate kind of thing, it isn't bad for my big hands and the way I hold a pen(I hold between my ring and middle finger with my pointer up high) so I pretty much miss the clip completely when I hold it, but if you have a more traditional grip or smaller hands it might not be comfortable.

  2. Thanks for the advice. Hearing from you and others I think I’ll go for the 3776. Plus it’s cheaper than the VP and the 74 in Australia. Just wondering, what colour is your favourite out of the 3776 line?

  3. I got mine second hand with a converter so I cant speak to new, and I love the chartres blue with rhodium

  4. So recently I visited a stationary store in Melbourne and they had an amazing range of different fountain pens and inks. I decided to get 2 twsbi Ecos both with a fine nib and Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku Rin. Also I picked up a small bottle of Jacque Herbin Rouge Opera ink

  5. Any writing samples of the inks? I've bought a couple of Iroshizuku colours already (Ama-Iro and Momiji). They're such gorgeous colours and the bottles are almost works of art themselves. :)

  6. I thoroughly am enjoying the complexity of these inks as all I am used to are Lamy and Parker inks. The bottles are awesome for display only my shelf too! I can tell you that Syo-Ro is my favourite of the two as I love the shift in colour as it dries onto paper. Unfortunately, I haven’t picked up any good quality paper but when I do I’ll be happy to show of some writing samples as for now the paper I have doesn’t do it justice.

  7. Please do. I looked at a few swabs of the two colours you picked up. Really nice inks you've chosen. I'm using the Ama-Iro in one of my dailies, and the Momiji for marking up documents (I'm an editor, so the ol' red pen is a must). Love the feel and colour of both if you're looking to expand your collection. ;)

  8. I don’t know if my wallet can handle it but definitely I am considering those inks to expand my collection.

  9. Ahh yes a fellow Australian at the JB-HI-FI checkout area

  10. I wouldn't hold my breath for a wireless Skoll or Hati.

  11. Would the RAM fit in the first slot? I have the same RAM, but got 4 sticks and I wanted to buy a similar CPU cooler and was wondering if the RAM clearance was enough.

  12. I’m only using 2 sticks so far but I think it will fit 4. It’s quite a slim cooler and the ram sticks are low profile. If it doesn’t, you can push the fan up a bit until it fits

  13. Specs Are: Intel Core i5 9400F Asrock B365 Pro 4 ATX Motherboard Kingston HyperX 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4 Coolermaster Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti Windforce OC WD Green 240GB Sata M.2 Drive Seagate Baracuda 2TB 7200 RPM HDD Coolermaster Masterbox MB 520 RGB Case TP-LINK 300 mbps PCI Wifi Card Thermaltake Smart BXI 650 watt 80 Plus Bronze PSU.

  14. Basically if Falcon from avengers was in real life

  15. If you like aesthetics I would have gone for the hyper 212 rgb black edition. It’s a really nice looking air cooler with a black heat sink and rgb fans. It will elevate you build to a new level. But everything else will make an absolute beast of a build.

  16. I’ll look into that. Maybe make a switch

  17. It’s not expensive either. I payed 65 AUD for mine. And it keeps my CPU nice and cool. Not sure about yours since it’s a 9700k and mines a locked i5 9400F.

  18. Andrea, the, uh, office bitch. You’ll get used to her. Creed.
