There's nothing I desire more then changing my biological sex from male into the female one, so that would be my first wish. I don't really care for the rest. Let the second wish be something altruistic, like the world peace. Maybe the third wish would be to have a perfect health.
In this case, Baba Yaga would stand for Rumpelstiltskin as a magical bargainer, Koschei the Deathless for The Evil Queen as the main villain and Rumpelstiltskin as an immortal dark sorcerer, Ivan the Fool for the Charming Prince, Vasilisa the Wise for Snow White, etcetera. Slavish folklore is so rich, you can't even imagine!

Exactly. I thought it was pretty clear that he was not. It was the whole reason he needed to know the name of Snows baby, her name was the key to getting his memories back.
I'm so annoyed by people, who seriously believe that the thing with Gold remembering everything only after hearing the Emma's name was a retcon, although it's right here in the Pilot episode with Rumple asking for child's name and Carlyle's really subtle acting in the first Mr. Gold's scene!
Ah, I just thought there're some sites, where French people watch tv-shows if they don't want to pay for streaming services or something of this kind. Oh well...
And that's fair, but I'm sheep and watch it on streaming platforms 😅 maybe you could get the french dvds? Personnally I'm still very big on it, as I'm sure at some point it will be impossible to watch anything but on streaming platforms :(
In my head cannon, they are all people who entered the Schmigaverse from the real world at some point and they opted to stay there. They didn't find true love. They didn't choose reality over fantasy. Whatever the test was, they failed it. So they became a part of it.
This was pretty neat. I never knew so many people did voice overs of NC reviews. I wonder why this happened a lot for Russian audiences, but not for others.
I thought about it myself, actually. I would suggest it has something to do with 'pirating' practice being more popular and allowed in Russia, than in western countries. Like, we have a dozen of different pirate voice-overs for tv-shows, especially the more popular ones. Almost all of anime is being dubbed by unprofessional, amateur studios, and there's only a few professional ones and even they're mostly born out of the piracy ones, like, for example Studio Band/Студийная Банда that made dub for the Russian Crunchiroll —
Well, this is a typical Russian phrase to start a fairy tale and fairy tales were used to make children go to sleep faster, so it's natural that you would tell them in a slow, ASMR like way.
This character's personality really is just like mine. Including the part with being/trying to become an actor (although I'm really interested precisely in voice-acting more then anything 'live-action'). It's uncanny. I don't even like anime that much, I'm watching strictly for her, hoping that her story might give me some valuable insights into my own personality.
It reminds me of that one time, when I bingewatched the entirety of Clone Wars (2008-2020) in just the span of 11 days (from 27-th of May and up to the 7-th of June).
Well, today I did it again by watching the full first season of Kaiji (2007) in span of just one day (first six episodes from 02:00 to 04:30, than a break for sleeping and the rest twenty being done from 11:00 to 20:30). It was madness and I'll probably never do anything like this again, but still that made for a great ending of a holiday.
Most of Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' books had a great translation and he's not the kind of author you can easily translate. I especially like how some of the names were adapted, like Granny Weatherwax being turned into the Матушка Ветровоск/Matushka Windwax.
I despise a really bad Russian dub as much as I'm proud of an outstanding Russian dub (which happens far more often, than some other Russians think). So yeah, the answer to your question is positive.
Am I the only one who actually like the Snow and David's love story? And the character of David in general? And who loves the first season so much in particular because it shows their story so well?
No, I loved their relationship, too. I just hate what the writers did to them in later seasons, like the Lily subplot that felt unbelievably out of character.
Ya know, at this point I prefer to just ignore the existence of anything beyond the first two and a half seasons. Fortunately, my level of imagination allows that.
My elder 25 years old sister loves Korean dramas... doramas even so much, that she's been studing Korean for a year or two now just as a hobbie (she's going to be a doctor). And I suppose she would gladly move to Korea if that was practical for her. So yeah, although I'm not sure how much the popularity of Korean content is in general, I can tell for sure that this country certainly is appealing to at least some of the Russian youth.
Аминь!
One of the best Nostalgia Critic reviews for a long time.

That's true. I forgot about that line. Anya as a saviour would be really interesting

RC...?
Robert Carlyle, I suppose.
No worries. Sorry but I wouldn't know, as I watch the show in english myself

I found it! I finally found it! The French voice of Rumpelstiltskin is just a pure perfection!

This! The last phrase is an excellent idea for a perfect finale season of this tv-show!

Man, Universal is the worst! It did it again! It blocked the Nostalgia Critic's review.

Thank you for this re-upload!
Every time I say жили-были I have to say it in such a slow country like way and I don't know why

My Happy Birthday is on the 22-th of October, so I got the best pick ever — Clem!

Un jour... un jour... I'll read the second volume of the comic and watch the second season of this tv-series!

Стоп, там действительно переозвучка?
Ага. Круто, да?
Иронично, круг замкнулся
The circle is now complete, now Сыендук is the master.
The people from Fairy Tale world cursed to become the opposite of themselves in the 'Real' world.

Allow me to recommend you few comedic projects from the СТС channel. Most of them can be easily find on YouTube, though without english subs.
I decided to watch this anime simply for this character and I'm not sorry.
Spider-Man (2018) for PS4/PS5 had an amazing russian dub.
