Well I had a long distance girlfriend for a bit late in college, we started dating long distance after she moved to grad school. However about 3 months of talking, I was finally able to drive the 9.5 hours to her place for a 3 day weekend. When I got there we kissed a cuddled for an hour or two before deciding to pack up and go to sleep. We had talked previously about the possibility of going the distance, but I was mostly hesitant. I wasn’t a virgin anymore but never liked the idea of one night stands or casual flings, I want it to mean something and I didn’t want to lead her on. We retired for the night and after talking I realized something was there for me at the time, beyond just being horny for the drop dead gorgeous woman I was under the covers with. When I turned her head to kiss her we started making out and when I finally rolled on top of her, she palmed my junk and in a voice that has permanently been engraved in my mind, moaned “fuck yes”

No, she's awesome, but I can't do long distance. One of the biggest things for me in a relationship is physical contact. Not just intercourse but holding hands, cuddling and any other day to day interactions. I realized that a few months later that I wasn't thinking of her as my girlfriend, but as a friend.
