The last time I posted here (March 2021) my daughter had just come out of intensive care. Today we were told she can come off of daytime oxygen. I am so proud of my girl.

  1. "You guys are alive?" Lol like we're the Millers

  2. Is that even legal to ask in an interview? At the very least it sounds highly inappropriate and unnecessary to ask.

  3. It's pretty telling when you look at the "worst case scenarios" that women and men imagine when they consider dating and how to approach it.

  4. Men are afraid women will laugh at them, women are afraid that men will kill them.

  5. Ladies, hide yo knees, hide yo elbows, hide yo ankles - they peeping errythang out here

  6. And God forbid they ask any woman, they just make this shit up on their own. This man should tell his mother or grandmother that only unhealthy women get periods. They would slap him across the face

  7. Omg her smile in the second picture. My daughter used to do that same huge cheesy smile when she was like 2-3. That made me choke up a bit. I'm so happy for you and your beautiful family. Enjoy that smile always!

  8. The hot water joke is more that it reminds us of hell, where we actually come from lol

  9. If the men find out we can shape shift they are going to tell the church

  10. Oh ffs it is NOT that bad. People really be avoiding the help they need over the chance of debt. And ofc a non-american would have trouble understanding that.

  11. I fainted at work while 4 months pregnant. I was overworking myself trying to save for the baby, and I was malnourished & dehydrated from not taking good care of myself while doing so. My manager was really freaked out and called an ambulance for me. I got pumped full of fluids and they did an ultrasound to make sure my baby was fine. The ambulance bill was $5000. I am blessed that I had insurance. If I wasn't pregnant I don't think I would have gone to the hospital either.

  12. FYI, your use of things like "MATHEMATICAL DOUBLE-STRUCK SMALL E" makes your posts absolutely incomprehensible to read for screen readers. Just a heads-up because I've heard blind people complain about similar things before.

  13. That is very interesting! The font is hard on my eyes as a standard reddit scroller, but I didn't even think of how that would be even more difficult to translate through a program for blind people.

  14. The document just contains directions to a house where the bearer of the soul lives but they moved several years ago and now the document leads to an empty house, making it worthless.

  15. Sikhs were murdered after 9/11 because the rednecks thought they were Arabs.

  16. Reminds me of that scene in "Inside Man" where they freak out on the Sikh guy, calling him an Arab and ripping off his turban to look for bombs in it

  17. you probably have some kind of mental illness too!

  18. For some reason I read it as Nipple 'O' Dean until I read your comment with the 'n' capitalized. Now I read it as Nickelodeon.(OP edited nippleodean to nippleodeon)

  19. NIPPLE O'DEAN omg that comment brought me back to life, thank you for that hearty laugh

  20. Yep. If you read em, you already got an advantage. Just last week I had to point out the safety regs to HR that explained the different types of mask and when to replace them because they were trying to get me to use the same disposable mask multiple days in the row to cut cost. Not only were they dumbfounded that there were laws governing the rules, but I showed them their own training and site packets (generic and bought) and they had no clue it was in there.

  21. This is amazing! Is it bad to say I like it better before the backstitching though? I think I like the softness of the lines and how the colors blend without the backstitch

  22. It makes it look like a retro video game loading screen when you are entering a village/marketplace before continuing your journey

  23. I feel so dumb right now. I don't get the punchline. Someone please help

  24. I have no idea about in this day and age, but I really enjoyed his son's book "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens". His own book was the same but for adults, and his son sort of modelled it after his dad's parenting of him and how to navigate being a teen in a mature, graceful and productive way I am 27 and I still think about what he wrote from time to time

  25. I never liked the phrase "please find" in the modern professional setting. Like, I get the reasoning behind the phrase. But anymore, it's just like, "Why wouldn't they find it? Is it a secret item in the email?"

  26. So real it hurts. I'd even add in that other colleague who gives it their leftover coffee

  27. Calling her jailbait or photo with Woody Allen; Which is creepier? Wait, I found more: “nymphette” and “pale and puritan skin”…. “Princess of wet dreams”. And yep k the whole thing is wtf.

  28. What a horrible day to have eyes. Its fucking rancid. I'm both surprised and not surprised by this article, and idk which is a worse reality to live in.

  29. I read the word nymphette and about lost my lunch. Holy shit.
