Personally, I think having played the game made it difficult for me to connect with the parts of the show that were direct copies of scenes from the game. Compared to how much I loved basically everything they added, it’s weird how disconnected I felt during the duplicated scenes.
To me this episode is a perfect example of what can make adaptation beautiful. Well done everyone involved, especially Nick and Murray
Interesting how the cold opens in both eps refer to there being no cure. Seems like that’ll help reinforce the ambiguity of the ending
this is incredible. I said a very Sam-esqe “holy shit” like 2 minutes in and am only now picking my jaw off the floor
Still available?
The dock is pending sale but the X13 and sleeve are still available.
Maybe it’s just because it’s such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the film, but the ‘everything old is new again’ scene is so endearing and charming that it sticks out in my head more than some of the more famous scenes in this.
I thought the bagel was gonna be LMM’s power move and here he comes bringing in a script and checking it with ‘the homie Kander’. He’s already got a hat trick and I’m not even done with the ep
just an absolute god tier combination of words

Ben doing the trumpet sound is why he’s our finest film/music critic. I’m absolutely crying from laughter over that.
I wish all trumpets sounded like his impression of a trumpet
I sold a friend on listening/watching this series with me by sending them the club scene from this, a bit from all that jazz, and the who’s got the pain dance with Fosse and Gwen Verdon.
A nightmare in the best way possible

Every time they answer “why wasn’t ___ in BB?” with “because time forgot their tragedy” it hurts just a little bit more.
I look forward to watching the rich man’s frug like 17 times to mentally prepare for my dream mini.
Time to get some kinda feelings about Michael York in Cabaret y'all
If I had to narrow everything my mother and I agree on down to one thing it would probably be that he’s an absolute cutie in that.

Congrats Cats fans!
What a finale, what a season. Truly felt like a love letter to Starstruck and it was so great to see how happy everyone was to be back together. Such an absolute joy to have this show and be a part of the community.
DMing with a question :)
Do you consider trades?
No, sorry. The only reason I’m getting rid of them is to pay for moving expenses.
Ah I see, yeah don't have those :) thx for replying and glws
Of course and thank you!
Brennan’s commitment to establishing deep expositional world building and then hiding a very silly bit in the center gets me every time god dammit
