Welcome to the R53 life lol. Yes, that’s pretty much how they are. Of course, as the car ages, and I’m assuming the shocks haven’t been replaced, the ride will roughen a bit. But that’s more or less how they are anyway. The R53 has a stiff suspension designed for great cornering ability, and it sits quite low to the ground. Plus it’s near 20 year old components.

99.9% certain this is a harness issue.
It was the plug that is facing the fan assembly, it's plugged in to what looks like a manifold. The part coming straight out from the top of the engine and then turns down in front of the engine. When the fan assembly broke and the fan came apart the broken fan bits sliced the clip off that plug so it can come unplugged very easily. I'm still getting a lot of codes that I didn't have before but I'm driving now. The codes update is
