I can't be sure but Xbox licence chips (which allow them to work on Xbox, are part of the wheel. On PS5 the chip is in the wheelbase. So you can put an Xbox wheel on a wheelbase that accepts different rims and it will work on both consoles but not vice versa.

I don't know where you are located, but where I live (Netherlands) I see the T300RS GT sometimes on sale for around €300. If you can wait, that might be worth it. Personally, I think the G29 can be too notchy and noisy (never had one tbh, but it's known for it) and the T248 at this price is too close to the T300.
While I get this post and why you think this is an unpopular opinnion there are moments in a discussion where the person "you're talking to" comes with "arguments" that are so obnoxious and far fetched that... that's the only valid thing you can ask, who hurt them. I recently was a poster of this type of comment in a post where a dood was bashing women for being gold digging bitches, and I literally couldn't say more than "Who hurt you" while reading his so called arguments, because that was the mentality I see in people who were heavily hurt by a female figure in their life.

I wonder how much turned down it was, though. I mean, it looks the size of an R5 but with 4 times the power. Seems highly unrealistic to me. The awkward marketing terms, supposed Xbox and PS compatibility and their other items (professional this, professional that) are red flags to me.
