  1. When she's talking to you about whatever is bothering her, ask her if she's looking for advice or is she just looking to vent?

  2. Two more cents: I almost hope that my son ends up marrying his high school sweetheart. I imagine it just makes life easier and less complicated. But that is just my opinion.

  3. It sounds like a next good step would be moving in together. See how that goes, and then propose.

  4. It doesn't sound like you're overtraining. Realistically at OTF, we are only doing about 40 mins of actual activity once you subtract the warm up and transitions.

  5. No, it doesn't. I eat the same food for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner for the entire week, then switch it up the next. I focus more on nutrients and macros vs taste and flavor. Food = fuel for me (eat to live mentality)

  6. She has an unhealthy addiction to social media.

  7. Not sure why you're getting down voted, b/c it was my first thought too 🤷‍♀️

  8. Those are the days you just have a "green day" and come back and crush it the next day!

  9. I don't think they freak over opposite sex friendships per say; it's the behavior that surrounds the friendships that throws up red flags.

  10. It is okay to have opposite sex friends when you are in a relationship.

  11. What seems off in this scenario, is that he has never mentioned this "friend" to OP...

  12. Nope. If my husband called me crazy and jealous for expressing concerns with a friendship he had with the opposite sex, he’d cut it off or we would be done.

  13. Totally agree about "needing space" at the gym being a red flag. They could easily go together, but do separate workouts

  14. When I'm upset with my husband, I do not want to say "I love you" or hug him/show affection. I need a minute to process an argument, but I will always say it before we go to bed.

  15. I am a female and I want to just share a quick story. I gained 50 lbs from a medication. I got off the med (wasn’t working for me anyway) and did otf and lost those 50 lbs steadily. No major diet change (I didn’t eat that badly anyway I just am saying I did not do any counting, tracking, measuring or rules to lose the weight. Followed intuitive eating only). I had tracked macros for a couple years and it made me forget my hunger and full cues so I needed to relearn that. Intuitive eating worked for me.

  16. And just to counter your story, my friend has been "following a plan" for a year with no results. She hasn't seen results because she doesn't actually follow the plan. Yes, she's in the gym 5-6 days per week, but she doesn't adhere to her meal plan but maybe 1 day per week.

  17. This is kind of how it happened for my husband and me, except when the spark ignited, I made a move and the night ended with us in bed together! Together for 16, married 10 years now 😁

  18. I always at least rinse it off. Every time.

  19. My husband dropped from about 18% BF to 10% BF working out an average of 1-2 days per week. The key to his success was sticking to his meal plan 👌🏼

  20. I would apologize to your husband; not for the lack of sex, but for the unfulfilled promises and rejection. It's going be tough coming back from this, because it will probably feel like a pity f$%k at this point for him after being rejected so many times.

  21. This is exactly my concern. Thank you. I don't know what to do to make him believe it's anything BUT pity sex. I also feel trapped by everything going on right now but I know it's temporary. Once the new schedule settles in I hope I'll have more energy again.

  22. Maybe try showering at night while your husband puts the kids to bed to wake yourself up a little bit. Then don't wait to initiate. I know if I sit down to watch a show or lay down in bed, I'm done for the night.

  23. More attracted now. When we first met, he was not my type physically so it was far from instant attraction. We were friends first and I think that laid a great foundation for us to really get to know each other.

  24. Same! I'm looking out for how I'm gonna create a vegan option outta what's offered, and how much I should plan to eat beforehand. 🤣

  25. I left last year to focus more on lifting and training for 10k/15k races outdoors. Came back to OTF a few months ago and will be canceling again. I don't like the template changes and it just feels boring now. I used to go religiously 6+ days per week bc I loved it so much; now it just feels blah.

  26. I would suggest creating a meal plan for 3 meals per day that are 500-600 cals each.

  27. You are not wrong to feel offended, nor is he wrong for wanting more for your daughter.

  28. I usually have avo toast with nutritional yeast and EBTB seasoning and top it with sautéed mushrooms
