  5. No, it doesn't. I eat the same food for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner for the entire week, then switch it up the next. I focus more on nutrients and macros vs taste and flavor. Food = fuel for me (eat to live mentality)

  15. I am a female and I want to just share a quick story. I gained 50 lbs from a medication. I got off the med (wasn’t working for me anyway) and did otf and lost those 50 lbs steadily. No major diet change (I didn’t eat that badly anyway I just am saying I did not do any counting, tracking, measuring or rules to lose the weight. Followed intuitive eating only). I had tracked macros for a couple years and it made me forget my hunger and full cues so I needed to relearn that. Intuitive eating worked for me.

  16. And just to counter your story, my friend has been "following a plan" for a year with no results. She hasn't seen results because she doesn't actually follow the plan. Yes, she's in the gym 5-6 days per week, but she doesn't adhere to her meal plan but maybe 1 day per week.

  17. This is kind of how it happened for my husband and me, except when the spark ignited, I made a move and the night ended with us in bed together! Together for 16, married 10 years now 😁

  21. This is exactly my concern. Thank you. I don't know what to do to make him believe it's anything BUT pity sex. I also feel trapped by everything going on right now but I know it's temporary. Once the new schedule settles in I hope I'll have more energy again.

  22. Maybe try showering at night while your husband puts the kids to bed to wake yourself up a little bit. Then don't wait to initiate. I know if I sit down to watch a show or lay down in bed, I'm done for the night.

  25. I left last year to focus more on lifting and training for 10k/15k races outdoors. Came back to OTF a few months ago and will be canceling again. I don't like the template changes and it just feels boring now. I used to go religiously 6+ days per week bc I loved it so much; now it just feels blah.

  26. I would suggest creating a meal plan for 3 meals per day that are 500-600 cals each.
