  1. INFO: why is your husbands ex at thanksgiving with his family? Is your husband okay with it? Why does she need to attend a family event?

  2. My old roommate (29 years old) had NO idea you had to clean the lint out. I had to explain to an almost 30 year old man that you must remove the lint after every load. He had lived with me 8 months and had never once cleaned the lint out when he used the dryer. He didn’t even know where the lint trap was when I showed him.

  3. For me, I used coconut oil every 4 days, applying a generous amount to my scalp, and focusing on really getting the scalp hydrated rather than the hair. It helped my flakiness almost immediately!!

  4. All the photos she chose look like those women are having fun and enjoying themselves. I guess she doesn’t know what that looks like.

  5. Same here... I was prescribed anti anxiety meds and was smoking when using them. Now that I don't smoke my anxiety is completely gone.

  6. Same. I was diagnosed when I was smoking ~1 gram a day, took meds, nothing worked. I quit cold turkey in fall of 2020 and stopped taking my meds (definitely don’t recommend doing this without doctor supervision) and I haven’t had a panic attack once since. I used to get panic attacks 3-4x/week. Since stopping almost 2 years ago to the day, I haven’t had a single one.

  7. Well well well, if it isn’t my son being called the name that I willingly chose for him.

  8. Oh my! I have a (Princess) Peach dilute calico & a Kiwi calico. 😅

  9. I do love him. we get along really well. I was just looking to see if it’s something I should just overlook or not if we do love each other

  10. As much as you love him, I don’t think he loves you. At least not in the way that you love him. He’s with you out of convenience, because he has degraded you into thinking you’re not enough. Someone who loves you wouldn’t do this.

  11. Does anyone know how to get over the body horror of pregnancy and birth? I would like a child one day but the absolute horror of growing a child inside ones own body is absolutely terrifying to me

  12. I’m in the same boat. The whole concept of pregnancy is…I want to say grotesque. I hate needles. The thought of my body enduring all of that, the tearing, the ripping, the blood…I can’t logically get over it. I know it’s a beautiful thing. But I cannot get over the horror that my body will inevitably endure. I don’t know how I’ll ever get over it. And I absolutely want children. It’s just gonna be rough to go through.

  13. You can always consider adoption. I was adopted as a baby. you can even take hormone treatments to be able to breastfeed your child.

  14. I’ve definitely thought about adoption more and more as an option. Most of my friends are adopting rather than having biological children. I still have 5 or so years until I would consider having a child, so I will see how everything pans out until then

  15. I’m no longer on the Treasure Coast anymore, but when I lived there, some great places were Terrafermatta and Cafe Martier. I don’t know how much it’s changed in the year that I’ve been gone, but it’s a great place to get good drinks, everyone there is friendly, and sometimes there are even live musicians!

  16. It looks like this post is almost a day old, but I wanted to give some advice for any future bad days. When you’re overwhelmed and need something to calm down, I try and do this: find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. It has always helped me to stay grounded and calm me down. I hope your day today is better than yesterday, and that you heal from COVID!

  17. I remember in the early 2000’s a ton of vets would declaw cats. Now as a cat owner, I would never even consider doing that to my two babies. They don’t even use their claws (except when going to town on the scratching post)

  18. How is it situational? If you make 100k, and your partner makes 50k, $2,200 in monthly rent (an very reasonable rate for a 2-bedroom in a city) is going to be a substantial portion of their salary. If there is only a 5k difference in salary, that’s a different story. But otherwise, it is unfair to make your partner pay an equal about for an unequal salary.

  19. somebody can't afford $1,000 rent on a 100k salary.... that is pathetic, you would be paying way more living by yourself

  20. you wholly misinterpreted what I was saying. I said the $1,100 is substantial for someone making 50k. I said it was much easier for someone making 100k.

  21. Yay!! I’m so happy to see these updates. May Kratos live a long and happy life. The gods may have taken one of his lives, but he has 8 left. So happy for you and your boy!!

  22. I am a woman, and an attorney. I am the breadwinner in my relationship. I make roughly 30k more than him, and that amount is about to increase to 60k more than him. So, I pay more rent, proportional to the amount that we each take home. We split everything else, and keep individual expenses separate. He pays his own car payment and insurance. I pay my own student loans. Those are our individual expenses. But for household? We generally split everything, but it doesn’t always need to be 50/50. If we have an unexpected expense, I might contribute more than 50. Then he might stop at the grocery store and pick up food, and we won’t split the cost. I work longer hours, he is home sooner, so he does probably 60% of the cleaning and cooking, and I do the rest. I manage all of the bills. I make all of our payments, and then will request whatever his proportional amount is.

  23. Yes!!! Oh I’m so happy for you and Kratos. Keep updating us on his recovery. I hope you can rest from this stress as well.

  24. Please keep us updated on your sweet boy. I hope he has a swift recovery and you are able to heal from this as well 💜
