I had a back and forth with "rondonumbanine". It was kinda funny when I had him send "proof" bro sends a video of the screen black, and him doing different voices pretending to be inmates than yells and pretends to be a guard
25 cents! I love green lantern, and I don't believe this is an animated series I saw as a kid (it could be, but I don't remember for sure) so figured why not. Worse comes to worse, I don't like it and the DVD goes behind some green lantern figures.
I have no problem with a broken console as I would put it on a shelf with my favorite games displayed behind it (eventually gonna have a toy/game room, and broken consoles are assigned to a display) it's just when the prices are that high is when I immediately pass
Haven't picked up any yet however if I ever do get lots with them, for sports games, I will put them behind a display of either Kenner figures, or teeny mates figures of the sport the game is. For shovelware, there's some I like so I'd keep it. Crappy ones I'll give to my brother or a friend
Meanwhile I'm out here thinking Resistance was actually not bad. Like it knew what it was and didn't try to be anything more. Stayed in its lane and did its own thing
We are planning to build out a media room. My plan for these is to frame them in two poster sized frames and place them one on each side of the TV screen. Tryna keep a movie theater vibe. Just not there yet so I wanted to keep them nice and safe π
No way we deadass have the same goal kinda. Mines not as much as making looking super theater-y (although that sounds way more organized and probably looks better than my plan) and I'm in the same boat. I have so many mf toys in poly bags, and games and DVDs in tubs
Fr, same. So I've been dying to have a lot of them out but I dont want to feel burried by the whole collection so it's the cleanest way so to speak I can think of to make sure it doesn't just make things look cluttered.
Forgive my ignorance as I'm genuinely curious, but i mean like, if someone's strictly doing it for themselves. As in, like they'd display a regular case on a shelf, without protection (unless you choose to get a glass case with uv protection) what do you mean?
People get these graded and put on the shelf for display. They are not UV protected and people think they are. They WILL fade over time, even in indirect sunlight.
I gotcha my bad. Yeah I would think the cases would be uv protected, I'd assume that across grading companies regardless of what their grading. That's sad
I'm genuinely curious, what's the assigned value on old games like these? I get how many cartridges from the pre-disc years are sought after collectors items now, but are games from the first Xbox and PlayStation valuable at all?
They are not for the most part! I plan to eventually have a room with all of my toys, sneakers, vintage tees, video games and everything else I collect. I'm grabbing games I either had as a kid, wanted as a kid, look cool, or will go behind a display (ie, the marvel VTech games gonna go behind marvel figures) that's why alot of my hauls have what seem to be random video games
Don't feel too bad. I've been into video game stuff off and on for atleast a decade now and didn't even know promo xboxs like this came open. I was as confused as you were
Fight me right now, nigga. You got Fight Night on Xbox?
Nah I got mother fucking don king prize fighter for the 360 tho

I love and still play the little handheld baseball and football games.
Personally started hunting for more handhelds in that area. Recently found a hangman one, no where near the same level but still got me into them
Did they pay you to take Green Lantern?

Sorry. I apologize. I thought it was the Ryan Reynolds one!
That's the thing. That's the one I grew up on. I loved it and still do and am actively looking for a copyπ
At mine, I just bring the system home and try everything. If itβs broken I take it back and get a refund.

Nice, that's where I found my PS1 as well. It was in an old box for some other random computer crap, so it was semi-camouflaged
This one was in a bag underneath a bunch of other random electronics. I didn't think to look in boxes but now I will!
The first mario kart toys are not worth very much but like, if your selling the lot I guess I'd buy because shy guy
Thank you so much!!
I'd search Mercari if I were you. I always have luck finding obscure small toys from my childhood

I throw out all boxes for modern figures (for the most part, there's a few I keep in box simply because I have no idea.)
i forgot to reply and now itβs been nearly 150 days but thank you. this really helped me develop my style
Glad it helped

Don't let your dreams be crushed. Just think of the fact the escorts are overpriced as a convenience fee
