1. Ha ha! This should have been a "can you tell which sex my tarantula is?" Post. ๐Ÿคฃ

  2. Great pix. What are you taking those with?

  3. Thank you! It's just my phone. It's a Samsung A51 ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. I just got my first couple Ts from a Reptile show. Wanted a G. pulchra sling. They were charging $75. They also had different size enclosures and we're advertising a free tarantula for anyone spending over $100. I bought my G. pulchra and an enclosure, (Cork bark, little plastic plants, and substrate included), for $100 and got a free T. albopilosus. Gotta say I walked out of there pretty happy.

  5. Look up game sharing. You can both play online at the same time. She won't have to buy any games you already bought. She wouldn't be using your account. She'd be on her own while you're on yours. You'd both be online playing at the same time.

  6. The argument here is not that education doesn't work. It's the means to educate. Educating someone who is not asking for it at a bar or on a whim in some random place is way different than someone who is educating people that willingly came to the venue where the education is occurring, be it a zoo, a classroom, book, TV show, or YT video. Telling your ignorant co-worker in the break room or idiot rando at bar or relative at Thanksgiving dinner how their perception and knowledge of tarantulas is wrong and then trying to pass along facts is not going to be as effective as someone who is willingly going out of their way to educate themselves. And there are tons and tons of people that aren't looking for that info or willing to be educated... such at those that say "burn it with fire" when responding to a T being brought up in conversation. Those people, IMO aren't worth anyone's time or effort. Education is a two way street.

  7. Your OPINION doesn't invalidate the fact that education works and you never know who will respond positively if you don't try. I wasn't looking to learn about tarantulas but since I found myself interested I kept educating myself. Now, I own two and will be getting more in January.

  8. Godspeed. With your effort and time to spend, go be the tarantula evangelist we need you to be. Spred the teachings and educate those that are unaware of the glory that is the tarantula. There's a whole world of ignoramuses out there. Get to it. ๐Ÿ˜‡

  9. You're really advocating for ignorance? Ha ha ha! Suits you and your opinion. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

  10. Is there seriously no way I can fix it? My brother's gonna be pissed

  11. He can't be too mad. It happened to LOTS of those consoles. Mine included. It's nothing you or anyone else there did.

  12. Itโ€™s so fun to be able to have atleast one to watch hahaha I only have 4 Tโ€™s total at the moment, my hapalopus formosus sling has been in hiding for the longest so Iโ€™m just trying to keep its spot watered and hope to see it someday lol

  13. Already awaiting the next reptile show. Gotta get a couple more. I'm thinking C. versicolor and C. cyaneopubescens. Only gotta wait 4 long months. ๐Ÿ˜’ Ha ha!

  14. Iโ€™m attending my first reptile show local here early in October and Iโ€™m looking forward to it but Iโ€™m also nervous Iโ€™m going to have like a sensory overload of excitement to see everything hahahaha

  15. Yeah. I definitely have to set myself a budget the more I go to them.

  16. Do I have to have the same level weapon when power standing?

  17. Try watching more videos on em. There's channels like Dave's Little Beasties, Tarantula Collective, Tarantula Haven, and Dark Den etc. On YouTube. If you find yourself being more fascinated than frightened, maybe then start thinking of owning one or two.

  18. Contact support. No one here can help you.

  19. Those mealworms that you can refrigerate are what I've been using. Way easier than the fruit flies I was trying to use at first and they last SO long. You can cut em to be the size you need for your slings too. They sell em in petco and those types of stores.

  20. Not sure that's where I was headed but I like your style. Ha ha ha!

  21. Great. That information doesn't tell anyone how large she is though...

  22. They're gorgeous. What type is the one in the first pic? The black one.

  23. I think it was like $40-$60 shipping, donโ€™t rememebr

  24. More than the T itself? Damn! I hope you ordered more than 1.

  25. Oh, good. I Never ordered an animal online so I was just curious. But at that shipping price, I'll just stick to buying mine in person at shows. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

  26. Shipping is also insane. So I prefer to buy in person. I do need to look out for a pet expo to pay less for them. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ฌ

  27. Reptile shows have them and they go on all the time here in LA. Probably happening around you too. Look em up.

  28. Nice! Baby pitchers and little feet. What type of Nep and T are they?

  29. Martha Muppy sounded cool too. She's beautiful. What kind is she?

  30. Iโ€™ll enjoy it on my pc thanks. Yes you can report messages. Obviously. But how do you report that someone has messaged you over 100 times? Report each individual message? Thatโ€™s punishing the victim?

  31. Wouldn't he have to report you,(your banned word post), to get you suspended?

  32. check out our discord for access to scientific and evidence-based information about spiders.

  33. I see arachnoboards recommended a lot. Haven't been there myself.

  34. Help with what? You're parents make the rules in THEIR house. What can we do?

  35. 1 ther scard of it they think it will bite alot witch yes every now and then ot will be agrsive but no even kind what they think 2 they said they would get me a dpg about a year ago so if i dont get a dog i want a spider

  36. If your parents said no spiders, that's it. NO SPIDERS. Wait til you have your own place and get whatever you want. What advice can we give you? I advise you to listen to the people providing you with a roof over your head and respect their wishes.

  37. Why would you tell the rental places you have pet tarantulas? Do they bark all day when you're gone? Scratch up the furniture? Crap on your neighbors lawn?

  38. I canโ€™t afford to rent a whole flat/apartment by myself. UK prices are insane. Iโ€™ll be going into a house share with randoms. They are very unlikely to be cool with them being in the house. A lot of the time the landlord lives in and Iโ€™m not likely to be able to hide them.

  39. You can't keep em in your room? Talk to your potential roommates about em first?
