  1. Nahhhh definitely not a joke ๐Ÿคฃ

  2. Sorry for your loss. Her right front leg appears to be injured / not in use in this video. Perhaps she had been attacked by something or was even more dehydrated than appears.

  3. Yeah she wasn't using it at all. Still upset about it; i should've given her water :(

  4. I wonder if she is dehydrated or maybe was recently gravid? Her abdomen looks a little wrinkly. What a pretty girl!

  5. Yeah she passed away tonight - i'm guessing due to dehydration

  6. Poor thing. I wonder if she was super old. Really cool that you got a chance to interact with one though!

  7. Nope she wasn't even an adult yet :( I think she was dehydrated. I didn't even pick up on it because i was too focused on the fact that i found a redback ๐Ÿ˜ช

  8. Cute :) ive handled a couple adult females, just to get them out of the way. Its not super smart unless you are careful and know how to do it

  9. Yeah thought it'd be safer to advise against it even tho most people know the risks haha. I'm hoping to find a few adults as it gets warmer. From memory, the last redback i found was an adult female back in 2014. I was out in the country kinda far from a hospital so i didn't handle it

  10. Copied this but forgot to post it as a comment last night:

  11. Why did I go down that rabbit hole. ๐Ÿคฎ

  12. I made the same mistake ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

  13. That would make sense. Ive sent them in my shed before. Does his/her torso and leg placement look a bit different though?

  14. I'm pretty sure this one is a male which would make it seem like the proportions are off. Males have much smaller abdomens

  15. Just a little Jumper :) - Salticidae

  16. My best guess would be a Grass Spider (Agelenopsis)

  17. Holy fuck yes that is 100% a brown recluse
