  1. Behringer UMC404HD. 4 inputs(XLR/TRS comb'o - you can plug pretty much anything into them), 4 outputs, solid build, 4 hardware inserts, basic mixing onboard(including -20dB pad), MIDI i/o. Sampling at up to 24 bit, up to 192KHz(broadcast quality). I keep one on my bedroom computer for tracking jazz drums & experimenting with electronica...

  2. Lightly salt about a pound & form it into a dirty great patty, then brown it in a hot pan, dice it into bite-sized bits, and build a red-sauce around that. Serve on brown rice, or with your favourite pasta.

  3. I've named my studio desktops "Goobler", "Dingus", & "Maggot".

  4. I use my spare guitar effects for my synth's via aux' sends & returns on my mixer.

  5. Yeah they do. I'm currently running the BS2 through a Big Sky and it's bloody lovely. Keen to expand on that with a nice clean stereo delay pedal 🙂👌

  6. I can use my Electribe2 Sampler for stereo effects. Ok. I'll shut up now...

  7. The Arturias MiniBrute2 DOES have an audio input in it's patchbay...

  8. Kenny Gioia's "Reaper Mania" YouTube channel is my go-to for information on making Reaper swing to my groove.

  9. I would be lost without Kenny. things started to click for me after i started following his content.

  10. Yeah, I was slow to adopt the use of video tutorials myself. Old-school stigma - nothing more(I can read a lot faster than many people can speak coherently).

  11. Some are compressed into archives like *.zip/*.rar, and some are *.exe/*.msi installers. The *.dll is the plugin in the case of VST2. VST3 have the filename extension *.vst3...

  12. I've used a 9VDC, 500mA power supply with my Korg Poly-800 for over 25 years.

  13. Compare to "The Ocean" by Enya.

  14. It matters not which demographic/community cross-section you pay attention to. There's always a couple of jerks in amongst it, fucking shit up for the rest...

  15. The only thing for it, is to start fucking about. You'll learn best by doing, so have at it...

  16. Oopsie - Type-o'. Cairns is a town in Northern Queensland, Australia.

  17. I was going to give you the fifth degree about Frozen At Sea (FaS) and Integrated Marine Systems (IMS), but shit... I guess I can get behind a myth that encourages fellowship and sharing. Cheers!

  18. I'm aware that fish can be frozen safely, and also that it isn't completely ruined in the process.

  19. Anyone asks, tell 'em it's Vodka...

  20. That too. Neat Vodka is a bit of a trap - beautiful straight from the freezer, but it packs a wallop...

  21. The Korg Poly-800 has six-stage envelopes.

  22. Or for that matter their actual DW-8000 emulation, FB-7999. Which can, I may add, actually be used to program DW-8000 Sysex or, if you're in a DAW that will transmit Sysex, be used directly as a control editor for the synth.

  23. I cannot speak to that which I've not laid hands upon...

  24. Mine was my Yamaha DOM-30(favourite hardware sequencer), but the floppy-drive's cactus, and available replacements are far too new to play ball with it. So these days, I just use it as a sound module instead...

  25. You'll be hard pressed to do that in freeware.

  26. Not particularly BAD, but far from good...

  27. I actually prefer your rendition as is. The original has a certain level of saturation(more obvious on the vocals), which adds a certain dose of sizzle & pop to the mix.

  28. RCA is unbalanced. RCA to TS and vice-versa is not a problem. Just get two cables - one for left, one for right, or a single one that has both strands as part of a single cable, like

  29. That's not how balanced TRS works(re' TRS - dual RCA adapter).

  30. The balanced TRS i/o on the UMC404HD, can be also used with unbalanced TS cables. I use the RCA & TRS outputs on my UMC404HD's "A" output pair concurrently, for very similar purpose(1/4" TS cables to mixer, RCA output to monitors)...

  31. You could if you can get the white skin off

  32. There's nothing stopping anyone from USING a garlic-press.
