The Quinceañera parties are dying. I’m not young, and parents were already refusing to celebrate them when I turned 15. My father was opposed to the history behind it. Most of my friends did not get one because their parents agreed the history behind it was not something they wanted to perpetuate.
My mostly Hispanic neighbors [Las Vegas] did NOT get the Quinceñera dying out memo - also loud af karaoke erry wknd is the norm, not to mention downstairs neighbors don't seem to have a stereo in their unit so they blare their car stereo while sitting outside all wknd & some wkdays!
