We didn't watch him for all of that time. We only saw a handful of flashbacks (where Klaus created more problems than he solved), his role on TVD, and five seasons of the originals, where Freya did most of the heavy lifting whenever Klaus couldn't just punch his way through an antagonist.

yeah honestly the first time i watched it (1 yr ago) i cried all through the credits and even teared up later in the day.. the first time it was so emotional but a month ago i rewatched it and i found peace with the ending heh so yeah id recommend rewatching it too
