When you come across a feel-good thing.

When you follow your heart, love is the answer

  1. I just saw an Allison Fors blog post with a list.

  2. So this form is only for parents to fill out for their children? What about Autistics that would like to input from personal perspective?

  3. He's adorable! I love his little mat he's standing on.

  4. I get this on the inside of my fingers when I have a flair. They're like little blisters.

  5. It feels hard because it's in my mind that I could have prevented it. My mum specifically told me before I go to that trip to shower while no one was around yet I was too much if a coward ti listen to her

  6. You weren't a coward. You were a child and you were frightened.

  7. My friend's dog is was on team Ruff! So much fun and so cute!

  8. I would like to make something abundantly clear:

  9. You mentioned in happens when you lie in bed. Being up and finding strategies to feel grounded can help. This can give you an opportunity to journal it out or get moving to release the tension. I struggle with this too. I takes practice and consistency to rewire brains.

  10. I think just honestly expressing how their behavior is unacceptable is absolutely fine, if not necessary. If they feel shame as a result, that's their problem and not your responsibility.

  11. You were so kind to her. You couldn't have prevented her passing but you were so loving to her in a distressing time. She knew you loved her. You're a good human for caring for your furry family members.

  12. When my 10 year old bunny friend died I spent some time processing how difficult it was with my therapist which was helpful.

  13. My baseline for understanding is mental health professionals have an ethical choice of conduct and that's a very big deal. When I read posts and comments on these threads I recognize that I'm only reading a portion of a specific perspective. This isn't to discount actual feelings or experiences; I'm just aware I don't have all the information.

  14. This is play. Like the definition of play.

  15. Do people honestly not understand what teachers are dealing with??

  16. This entire thread. The post, the comments...all of it. Share this with your therapist. Quite literally open Reddit to this post, hand the phone to the therapist and sour there and be quiet as he reads through it. Then you can have your starting point and purpose for the therapy clearly stated and your therapist will have an understanding with your struggles and how to approach you in a meaningful and educated manner.

  17. ngl those two llamas give me the creeps

  18. I think she's trapped in an abusive relationship.

  19. Am I the only one who thinks Cyrus is a serial killer?

  20. I've always thought we was a dick for sure.
