Playing renegade in any mode is a huge flex, but at least in warfare you can steal some semblance of a base from someone. Considering they start in a shack with no trader, no barkeep, and not even a dirty mattress to sleep on, usurping CS with a cobbled together army of cigarette smoking track pants enthusiasts with broken guns is a pretty epic experience.

It’s a common misconception that periods of history with low average life spans means everyone was dying in middle age. Infant mortality was staggeringly high and throws off the numbers. If you made it to 40 in the ancient world you would very likely make it to 60 or 70. Obviously without modern medicine your odds of making it through your 70s and 80s was much lower than it is today, but the age at which many of the elderly died wasn’t as far away from modern norms as you might think.

A person is capable of being aware that the victim is also a sentient being.
Many psychologists would argue that the people who are best at killing or most likely to do evil things are not capable of conceptualizing exactly that. So does evil require the intent to be evil, or is it evil as evidenced by the consequences of the act? If it requires empathy or acknowledgment of the victim as an equal, many humans do not meet that criteria, and if it simply requires an evil consequence, many animals do meet that criteria.
What I found really strange about this movie was how people didn't get that it was making fun of conservatives and liberals. I thought it was clear that the jab at liberals was that they are so flexible with their ideology that they aren't faithful to anything. Then the making fun of conservatives that they are lemmings that just follow each other

One major thing people should note, with any trailer released well before a movie or shows premiere, is that the special effects/cgi is not finished. As time goes on, new trailers will be released with updated effects which will also sometimes influence what is shown plot-wise in the trailer.

For any footage of interspecies maternal care like this you can find some of a mother cannibalizing her young. Pregnancy and birth involve a hurricane of hormones that sometimes produce unexpected results, but the idea that this behavior is evidence of highly developed intelligence or compassion is pure conjecture.
