  1. Yes. Ipsy uses the IpsyMatch algorithm which takes into account both your beauty quiz and how you rate the products you receive. You don't have to leave actual text reviews (you can leave that field blank), but the ratings (love it-not for me) are important to complete. It usually takes a few bags with completed ratings before Ipsy really starts hitting the mark.

  2. You should subscribe before noon on the last day of the month (when they process payments for subscriptions) if you want to guarantee Choice.

  3. Probably not. They used to sell these in the pink-lavender two pack, and have only recently split them up to try to sell individually, so the description is probably copy-paste from the original listing.

  4. I think these first made their rounds in the Ipsy Ultimate in December 2019. I wonder if they're that old:/

  5. They first appeared in the April 2019 Plus bag. ๐Ÿ™ƒ I remember being disappointed by getting them as "leftover" products in my June 2019 bag. ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  6. According to their TOS, they technically have until the last day of December to ship out shop orders made in November.

  7. Keep pushing back! They count on people getting exhausted with the back & forth and giving up. You can do it! ๐Ÿ’œ

  8. I personally think Allure is overpriced for what it is. I think they've sent Charlotte Tilbury only once. Some of their months are really good, though. Some months... still have junky private label stuff. I did recently resubscribe for their 50% off + 2 free gifts deal, but I plan to cancel pretty quickly.

  9. I stopped subscribing to Margot Elena a while back, but I sure do miss those Cottage Greenhouse body oils. I need to get my hands on the Blood Orange one.

  10. My only experience with Copacetic bullet lipsticks was during the BBQ month, when I got Mustard Greens. It had a very waxy crayon smell that has put me off picking bullet lipsticks ever since, especially since they make their lip glosses smell so nice. Did I just get unlucky with my pick, or does this one have a waxy smell, too?

  11. I absolutely love Candy Castle!!!! This was my 8th month of this sub and totally not tiring of it at all. I have a little Sorbus style acrylic drawer organizer to hold the mini lips and polishes and i love to see the mini collection grow.

  12. Ahhhhh, I'm so jealous you got the highlighter! I got the loose glitter, which I won't use since I don't put plastic glitter on my face. I gave it to my sister, so hopefully she will be able to use it in a resin pour.

  13. I had something similar happen to me with a Volition (skincare brand) mystery box last year... I did my research & looked at what was in past mystery boxes: groups of mostly minis/travel sizes. So I thought, 'Great! I'll get a really good intro to this brand with several little items!' But when my mystery box came? No cute minis! 1 full size face cream, 1 basic setting spray, a couple of single-use products, and some really cheap branded swag items. Couldn't say the value wasn't there (like, the full size moisturizer alone paid for the cost of the box), but it super was not what I expected.

  14. Just curious...has anyone ever seen or received a product from Estee Lauder? Been a member over 3 years and have NEVER seen it in a bag or up for any choice or sales, I WISH!!! Still hoping to get that Sunday Riley Moisturizer too, hopefully one day!

  15. Yes, back in the first few months of Plus, I received an Estee Lauder Pure Color Love lipstick in Strapless.

  16. Sorry, these are really old products from previous bags.

  17. Do you think Smoke N Roses is worth buying if I already have a decent-sized ColourPop collection? I really like the idea of a smoky pink palette & I like pretty much all these shades, but it seems like there's still a lot of neutrals.

  18. I would say go for it. This was one of the prettiest palettes I'd seen from CP in a long time. I would think of this as a larger version of Blush Crush, and there are no other palettes that can compare it. I debated on getting this palette for almost a year because of the amount of palettes I have, but I'm so happy I have it.

  19. I'd recommend Copacetic Cosmetics pressed flakies quads. I own

  20. My suggestions if you're looking for something to get you over the hump for free shipping:

  21. I got the Sleeping Beauty bundle, too. I think it was a great deal! The only thing I'm not keeping is the Scentered balm, which is going into my mom's advent calendar.

  22. Do you like glitter? We heard you like glitter. I got this last year and it was all glitter, I couldnt give it away. Could have been worse, but it could have been a lot better to.

  23. Dude, you just removed any temptation I may have had. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  24. Oooh, it's already changed! A couple of days ago I used the code, & it was an Aesop face cream & the CT lip liner. Glad I took a screenshot.

  25. Nice! I didn't realize they'd change the gifts up so quickly. I think I'd prefer the face cream over the exfoliator as I have too many already haha

  26. I've heard good things about Aesop & I've been wanting to try it, so that was the deciding factor for me. Maybe that was the case for a lot of other people, as well & they had to change the gift more quickly.

  27. The Ecolips Hemp lip balm is good if you like cherry scents; the Huda Diamond Balm is good if you like coconut scents and don't mind the ever-so-slightest tint of lavender. I can't comment on the products they're bundled with, though. I would advise staying away from the pasty white Coral Sun lip balm at all costs. In terms of sparkly eye shadow, I wouldn't really recommend any of the products currently in Flash.

  28. My eco lips reminds me of the smell of port-o-potties cherry. haha

  29. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I guess I don't spend enough time in port-o-potties to know, lol. I did notice a slight earthiness due to rosemary in the formula, though.

  30. I've been trying the Korres Santorini Grape moisturizer + serum combo from BoxyCharm/Ipsy in my nightly routine for the past month or so, & I have to say I'm not impressed. Nothing bad is happening to my skin, but nothing great either. The cream is lightweight & absorbs pretty quickly. The serum has a really thin oily feel. The moisturizer is almost done, and I think I will be getting rid of the serum, too, when it's gone.

  31. These are finger swatches on cool/fair skin in natural indirect lighting. Link has video and additional photos

  32. You're welcome! The three shades across the top are kind of chalky, but the other 6 shades are better quality.

  33. Good info! I really love the color story of this palette, but those browns almost look like they were lifted straight out of the Head Capricorn in Charge quad, which I already have and love, so this is a helpful reminder to me not to buy things I don't need just because they're pretty!

  34. I agree with you. I mainly bought this palette for the green shades. I have green on other palettes, but not those particular ones.

  35. Yes, that's definitely what makes this palette so appealing ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

  36. Yeah, they've sent it out a lot actually! It has been in multiple mystery bags.

  37. Have you checked the Temptalia dupes? Some of them look pretty close.
