  1. We will ad your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. From this time forward you will service us.

  2. Not a previous host. Jadzia Dax has none of the commendations of Kurzon Dax, nor rank, or any relationships. Jadzia can access his memories but they are still a different person's memories, not hers.

  3. Have you tried seeing a Psychogist? I started seeing one when my mom was dying and still see him now. It helps sometimes just to talk about what your feeling. He has done wonders to help me with an addiction (not drugs or alcohol) and with my stress level too.

  4. Someone who obviously doesn't know what they're talking about

  5. I thought he hit it just right with the dark and gloomy aspect of Batman. I especially loved Bale's Bruce Wayne it's the best version of the "billionaire playboy" I've ever seen. I liked Michael Caine's Alfred being more than just a butler but an integral part of the team. The proverbial "man behind the scenes."

  6. Hypothetically, if the IT room were to say catch fire, how should I word the email to the fire department? Hypothetically.

  7. The conversation here has me thinking about what it would be like to have Data as a classmate. I could imagine his peers arguing over who's turn it is to have Data as a tutor.

  8. Lol! Now imagine the same idea with 7 of 9 as the tutor!

  9. Haha, that's good too. Now that I'm thinking about it, there would be a couple funny characters to follow through the academy. Lets go Paramount, give us a Starfleet Academy show!

  10. Ooh they could do a Friends style sitcom call it "Cadets"

  11. Swap Dr. Crusher for Dr. McCoy. Several reasons: I'd like to see how Crusher handles Kirk, I'd like to see Bines dealing with Picard's and crew (especially data). But mostly because I think Bones and Guinan would be really cool together.

  12. I really like the idea of a washed up, disenchanted with life Scotty on DS9. After being sprung from the buffers of the transporters by TNG crew he just couldn’t find a place where he fit. He ends up doing maintenance on some out of the way space station. I can see him at Quarks. I can see him crying on the deck of his Enterprise. Maybe he finds a reason to enjoy living again.

  13. Scotty and O'Brien would've been great friends

  14. sometimes, and i’m not proud of it, horny trumps hygiene

  15. Okay I picked the WRONG time of day to read this post. Now I'm going to have nightmares!! I'm swearing off porn right this minute because I will never look at it the same way again.

  16. Ah, I guess I can see that. But she is specifically Chief Communications Officer and a bridge officer on the Enterprise, in the operations division. She is also an expert in xenolinguistics.

  17. Yes I was talking about the xenolinguistics. I didn't realize we that the two were separate positions.

  18. In some early TOS episodes, Uhura is in command gold. The real reason Uhura is in red is because they liked the colour red better on Nichelle Nichols. Everything else is post hoc reasoning.

  19. I didn't know that. I must admit though Nichelle Nichols really looked good in the red uniform.

  20. Muggles! I'd they don't know what they're talking about then they shouldn't say anything. If anyone Data was closer to being the "New Spock" than Geordi.

  21. All I can think of is Mos emailing the fire department about the fire in the it room

  22. I'm going with over 40, but under 50. Maybe 44? You are old enough to not only have watched the animated series when it aired, but also old enough to watch classic batman reruns on an 80's CRT without a remote. Somewhere in there.

  23. Batman tas, superman tas, justice league tas, justice league unlimited tas

  24. As Whitney recounts in her autobiography, The Longest Trek: My Tour of the Galaxy, her time on the show was not the exciting opportunity she’s hoped for. In order to stay slim enough for her Starfleet uniform she turned to starvation and amphetamines. She was also sexually assaulted by one of the production executives. While no specific reason was ever given for her abrupt firing from the show, she long suspected it was related to the assault.

  25. According to 'Q-Squared', they (Q Continuum) did. The episode "The Squire of Gothos", Trelane is part of the Continuum

  26. Also it's sort of hinted to at the end that he was Qs son. Even though Q said son was used as an elder talking to a younger, it was still sort of left for you to make up your mind. I love that book but the audio version read by DeLancie is the best!

  27. See: Squire of Gothos. Or any other god entity episode. Who mourn for apollo.

  28. I remember my first computer: Apple IIe second edition with the number pad and an Image Writer II dot matrix printer.

  29. For those who don't know Batman is considered to be a human supercomputer in the comics. Basically a Sherlock Holmes type. I think with time to study Spock he could play the game to a stalemate.

  30. I've been hooked on Trek for as long as I remember and trust me season three is where TNG hits its stride. The get rid of the stupid one piece uniform and go to a redesigned two-piece that looks better. Q gets more interesting (but no less annoying). You've got great episodes like The Best of Both Worlds, Tapestry, Relics, Data's Day, Nth Degree and more to look forward to. So hang in there it's just about to get a whole lot better. Plus you Deep Space Nine and Voyager to watch too! I can't wait to hear an update later on.

  32. Look if you're unhappy with your body image then change it. Eat healthy, and exercise. But what you need to know is that attraction is more than looks and that different people are attracted to different things. B

  33. I used to think I had high standards. Didn't date a lot of perfectly fine but unpopular nerdy girls because of it. But you need it. You need some training. You're gonna meet your true love one day and then, and you should make sure you are not a sad virgin or loser who don't know the first thing about women due to a complete lack of contact. Go out there and have some fun while you still can. Be a fool.

  34. Being a virgin does not mean you're sad or a lover. It means that you want your first time to be special.

  35. I disagree. Spock was raised Vulcan and so had Vulcan schooling which is much more difficult than human school. Plus he has the best of both worlds being half-human. He understands human emotions and knows how to use them to his advantage. He has Vulcan logic which is far superior to human. I think he and bats would end in a stalemate.

  36. The main person on the Klingon side who was levying the charges against the Federation was General Chang, who was part of the conspiracy. They weren't going to sway him with any level of evidence because he was already using falsified evidence to push his claims. They could perhaps have proven to the Federation they had been framed, but that didn't solve the problem of bringing peace with the Klingons, and continuing the Federation/Klingon cold/warm/hot war was the whole point of the conspiracy to start with.

  37. Honestly I'm shocked that Chang didn't bring up the "Genesis Incident" as further proof of Kirks hatred of Klingons

  38. It's a solid next gen episode type of movie. Not spectacular. Not an JJ Abrams ST flick.

  39. And have you noticed how your boobs have started to firm up? That part had me laughing so hard I had to pause the movie.

  40. I think the entire Borg subplot could've easily been left out with no damage to the story. I honestly found that part the most confusing. How does Queen Juratti fit into the already established Borg history? Also I thought Janeway and Alt-future Janeway destroyed the borg infrastructure at unimatrix 0 thus nullifying the borg. So how does Juratti fit into this? And suddenly we are all just to accept that the borg are good now and want to join ufp?
