I used to be a maid at an alzheimer's unit where everyone living there was at the end stages of their life but not quite ready for hospice. There was an old man there that I just didn't understand why he was there and he didn't understand why he was there either. He seemed a little too sharp. But he was flirting and I felt bad for the guy so I would undo my top button while I was cleaning and be sure to let him see me bend over a lot.
The owner of the dog was a old man I believe who lived on his own. So the dog was his only company, a lifeline for him in a way. So the fact the firefighters saved the dog is so heartwarming

That's why I said it's a trigger, and not a cause. It won't trigger everyone. A physical trauma can be a trigger. Alcohol is a trigger, or any similar level drug can be a trigger. The triggers are going to be differentfor each person, but the triggers aren't the root cause of the psychosis.
Well I'm sorry but I just disagree. I'm someone who experiences psychosis, and it is triggered by something going wrong in my brain. I also consider myself a drug enthusiast. I've done a lot of different drugs and harm reduction is something that is important to me so I read about each drug that I do and I speak to my psychiatrist about the drugs that I do. She prefers that I don't do drugs obviously but she knows that I don't have a problem. Psychosis has never been triggered by any drug I've ever done.
