Could be grease from a split CV joint, but that is usually dark and thicker. Could also be from something you ran over.
Yeah I just checked and the cv joint is quite literally split at least the boot part. However a new one costs something like $130 and I’m not willing to spend that much considering it drives pretty well. I wonder if i could just ignore what’s the worst that could happen?
It just needs repacked with grease and a new boot. If you leave it you will need a new joint.
Seems to be back to normal again, perhaps Ken forgot the little brown envelope this week.

WD40 won't be any use. Use grease. They weld themselves to the valve stem then they have to be cut off.

There is instructions on the box the plugs come in. Finger tight then 1/2 to 3/4 a turn.
