How do you define destructive power? Because I don't think an AR-15 can even come close to the destructive power of a Springfield M1A. And that in turn is dwarfed by the destructive power of a Weatherby Mark V. The Kriss vector is a pistol caliber carbine. Depending on which caliber it's chambered for, the standard is .45ACP which travels at less than 1/3rd the speed of a rifle round, but is a massively larger bullet. So, how would you define destructive power?
Size, velocity, magazine size, uranium rounds, I dont care. Or just keep dick-sizing with you mad knowledgeable skilz to ad absurdum your way out of actually answering if there is a logical point when a rifle should be considered illegal.
To answer your question I don't think there is any point where a rifle should be illegal. Nobodies committing murder or mass murders with large caliber rifles. Whens the last time you heard a mass murder event happend with a Barret 50 caliber sniper rifle? Never? Of course.
