1. Not for trout. For other species, circle hooks are great. You can get tiny in-line circle hooks.

  2. Why are circle hooks a no for trout? Genuine question.

  3. I’ve never seen it done. Trout are cautious biters… tiny (ultralight size 8-10) hooks are usually what are used.

  4. If it starts with “S” and ends with “enko”…. You’re on the right track!

  5. Hold the phone! Why is it that when God plays God in the Old Testament, and decides who lives and who dies… He is mortally wrong?

  6. Panko bread crumbs, flour and strawberry jello mix… mix it up with water, into a dough and stick it in the fridge to firm up. Use a size 8 oct-inline circle (not 8/0) hook and roll the dough into balls that you can burry the hook into.

  7. For me, playing fast paced video games helped a lot ( fighting games, shooters etc).

  8. There are legit studies that do show that video games improve hand eye coordination.

  9. Pizza guy: “122…. 122 an 1/8? Where the heck is 122 an 1/8?!”

  10. Fellow crappie fisherman here. Find the shady side of the pond, with some sort of structure. If it were me… I’d stand about 10-15 yards away and cast under the pier… it’s shaded structure.

  11. Thanks for the tip about the shade. How deep under the pier do u think would be best?

  12. Try fishing a 1/32oz Jig head with a Bobby Garland 2” Baby Shad (colors like Green banana, pearl white, or blue ice) work great! Start off at 1ft under a weighted bobber (easier casting) then move down in 6” increments until you find the depth that they are at. Use light line (4lb-6lb test). Tie the Jig head with a Palomar knot so that the baby Shad is horizontal. Crappie fishing is the polar opposite of bass fishing. Let the lure sit still, with tiny twitches in the rod every once a while. Patience… Daniel-son!

  13. Down the Long Hills by Louis L’Amour. It’s a survival/ coming of age story. It’s also a short book (180 pages). You could read it in an afternoon.

  14. 11/22/64 by Stephen King. No horror involved. One of the best books you’ll ever read. Thank me later.

  15. Using a weed eater will get you in trouble with the Game Warden…

  16. Aren't rock bass a hybrid of small mouth and something else? (Bluegill maybe?)

  17. No Rock Bass is Ambloplites rupestris. The Rock Bass is its own individual species and not a Hybrid. I will say that other than bluegill, a rock bass has saved many fishing trips from getting skunked. The cool thing about a Rock Bass is that they will hit the same soft plastics that you can throw for largemouths and smallmouths. You can also catch them on smaller jigs that you use for Crappie. They are ready biters… best part is that they are not scared of people (usually), so they are harder to spook.

  18. Huh, neat, guess my buddy lied to me lol (or likely he was lied to). Yeah there is a stretch of the greenbrier river here in WV where you can pull em out with every cast, on soft rubber tubes with a jig head.

  19. The soft plastic tubes are one of their favorites!

  20. IMHO, the New Testament Should be read first. I took my time (so I could understand it) and read it in about 2 weeks (3 hours per day).

  21. A carbon filter will eliminate the rotten egg smell.

  22. Zoom Ol’ Monster… 1/8oz to 1/4oz bullet weight and a 5/0 EWG hook… Texas Rigged.

  23. Klein has a good backpack. Not quite as good as Veto.
