so, on this mother board the M.2 socket (2_1) only works with intel 11th gen processors. you have an 10th gen , so the nvme drive might be in the wrong slot. it's probably in the red box here, it needs to go in the green box. it should be an easy swap.
Sorry to bother again but now I’ve swapped it to the other slot and it is showing up in bios. Now I just need to figure out how to get windows to recognise it, do you know how?
Is the nvme device the boot drive? If not, right click on the start menu and go in to disk management, you might need to initialise it.
