  1. I can’t laugh—when I received my copy, I didn’t even flip through it. I took a picture of it and gently placed the catalog back in its packaging, taping it shut.

  2. Former night manager here (from like 2016).....here's the list of ingredients:

  3. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) was good, but I liked Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) even better.

  4. That's the film I reference when I mention Matt Reeves's directorial style. It's the first film where I noticed some of the things that made his Batman stand out. And Dawn (also War) totally knocks Rise off of the map in terms of story.

  5. Rescuers Down Under was always so much more iconic to me than the first one.

  6. To this day, I can only say I've seen the original once. Also, I cannot say I remember that movie at all. Rescuers Down Under is far more memorable to me.

  7. You're not short-staffed. Your employer is short-staffed. Sounds like a them problem. Do you King.

  8. Yeah. Charlie has that eternal blue-collar worker strength that you can only get from hours and hours of physically taxing, soul-crushing labor.

  9. I think she’s going through her midlife crisis while we watch the adventures play out. My mother may not have done this but she did do similar things…extra makeup, wear a bit more flashy jewelry. She was also most likely influenced by shows like Dynasty, Dallas, or Falcon crest.

  10. My mom absolutely hated Falcon Crest but was into Dynasty and Dallas. But her favorite prime time soap was Knots Landing.

  11. My mom was exactly the same! I think that's where Alec Baldwin started out, wasn't it?

  12. I actually didn’t know that Alec Baldwin was on that show until today.

  13. Coogler struggles with the larger setpiece stuff, the end of BP was the weakest segment, what with people having a bloodless slap fight with swords and spears and being harmlessly trampled by rhinoceroses in what can only be described as “the Windows XP background if it was a battlefield”

  14. OMG—nothing has terrified me as much in any film. The story is such a perfect setup and the payoff perfectly lives up to it somehow.

  15. Seeing a mob of shadow people drag that one guy off at the end shook me as a kid.

  16. Actually a great lesson from the whole season. In retrospect, I think that line is the central theme of Season 3.

  17. NGL…I’m probably not gonna give this a fair shot. I just don’t like Lena Dunham.

  18. I would watch an entire 2 hour movie of him just YELLspering 😂😂😂😂😂

  19. The fact that Eddie gave that performance the same year he won the Best Actor Oscar is the cherry on top. I reference his Jupiter Ascending performance more than any other role he’s done, including Fantastic Beasts.

  20. Didn't Halle berry win for monsters ball the same year she did catwoman? If so those two are in rarefied air 😅

  21. Those films were two years apart but Halle Berry did have a period in the 2000s where she would follow up a decent film with a stinker.

  22. While colorism is a very real thing, I don’t think it’s wise to apply it here. Both actresses have had wonderful careers so far. The difference between the two really comes down to the roles. As many have noted, Zendaya and Keke Palmer are not the same type of actress. They have different looks and personalities. That matters in casting. I don’t think Keke would’ve been a better fit in something like Euphoria. And I don’t think Zendaya would’ve been the better fit for Keke’s role in Nope.

  23. If the downtown Holiday Inn, the round one, is on your left, I think it’s the next block up on the right. There’s a church on the East side, which everyone remembers. I may have my locations off a little because it’s been 3 yrs + since I’ve been downtown during the day.
