[Routine Help] THICK greasy body creams for extremely dry skin?

  1. Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream. I have a habit of rubbing my skin (especially my hands) after I put lotions or creams on, and this is the only one I've found that doesn't eventually start peeling. It's not crazy thick, but it works really well. If I want shiny legs, I'll top it with Supergoop Glow Oil SPF during the day or jojoba oil at night

  2. OMG I totally forgot I actually have this - I usually use it as a occlusive for my face routine especially when I have eczema but I'll try it on my body when I'm feeling extra dry. I do have amlactin which I use on my feet for exfoliation but I can try using it on my body - that's a good idea actually.

  3. Gold bond ultimate in the brown bottle. It literally barely comes out of the pump it’s so thick. I still feel this stuff days after. It’s amazing when I have a rough winter.

  4. I keep a tin of the blue Nivea cream. It's thick like a diaper cream but it's a life saver for dry chapped skin. If it's really chapped it does burn slightly though so if my skin gets that dry I use oils and then a layer of Vaseline to lock in the moisture.

  5. It's not thick but it is very greasy and very moisturizing-- Nivea Essentially Enriched body lotion. I stopped using it because my coworkers complained about me leaving greasy arm-prints on everything I rested my arms on.

  6. Oils are nice but getting that on my sheets at night isn't ideal unfortunately. I already have a rough time washing my pillowcases so often since I use rosehip on my face.

  7. Cerave Healing Ointment is literally the greatest, greasy, healing/hydrating stuff i’ve ever used!!! I always recommend this stuff, it’s amazing for my extremely dry skin especially in the winter, and can also be used as an ointment for minor wounds :)

  8. Ever since they reformulated with a bit more niacinamide this has burned a bit ngl, I do use Aquaphor on wounds and intense dry spots though!

  9. I like to layer a heavy moisturizer with aquaphor overtop! I use the aveeno eczema lotions which is pretty thick and then slather the greasy aquaphor on top to lock in the moisture

  10. I’d start formulating your own creams with natural butters, oils and Aloe Vera (natural humectant) as you can control the thickness and greasiness, they’ll stick be thick and beautiful on the skin without grease if you make them well.

  11. La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Balm (renaming to LA Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream) is my HG body cream for very dry, eczema prone skin. Not the Lipikar Lotion that one is way lighter in texture.
