I thought this would be higher. Maybe it’s because I was/am a big Aerosmith fan. But it was such an iconic episode and one of the earlier appearances by a big guest star.
I think the funniest was when former President James Taylor played the wake up song for the astronaughts, in the Deep Space Homer episode. It was so out of character for sweet baby James to be so belligerent.
This is most likely unpopular because it's when the show was going downhill, but as a young girl watching the show when the episode premiered who definitely ate up the boy-band craze, I loved the NSYNC appearance lol.
The Ted Nugent "If we ban crossbows from our schools, whose gonna protect our children from charging ELK?" gets a laugh out of me given the-current political climate.
You picked mine. My second favorite is U2, just because that whole bit where Homer busts into the concert as the potato man jettison's Sinead O'Connor's chair. It's more than classic, it's iconic.
"Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins"
All time greatest guest spot.

He’s not as laid back as people say
I’m gonna play and you’re gonna float there and like it
Steely Dan. "Play Deacon Blues! No, The Royal Scam!"
“Sorry White Stripes, no hard feelings?” “Let’s kick his ass!”
AHHH!! THE MOODY BLUES!!

No one's voting Democrat while I can still draw a bow.
My God no one said Leon Kompowsky yet. This is outrageous
What are you talking about? That episode does not exist. It never happened. *shifts eyes*
The White Stripes. Bart's transportation down the road via drumming is amazing.
That’s literally remake of original The Hardest Button to Button video.

Sting being a good digger was a good one. I’m not really a fan of his music, but I appreciate his hard work.
Stings another hero of mine. I don’t really listen to his music or anything but that fact that he’s making it, I really respect that.
Lady Gaga /s
The Who, I love bands!
So you wanna see The Who huh?
The Prophet of Love: Larry White
But nobody rocks like.... Spring Feld
The New Orleans episode. Sadly I thought Aurora Nealand would be jamming with Lisa on the tenor sax.
This is Dick Clark, rocking down to the year 2000, and that was Whitesnake-
They asked Pearl Jam apparently, but Eddie was too uptight about seeing himself as a cartoon. Damn shame.
Roger Daltrey: I thought we fired that guard!
"Smithers, have the Rolling Stones killed...."
Cypress Hill!
Have the Rolling Stones killed.
You picked mine. My second favorite is U2, just because that whole bit where Homer busts into the concert as the potato man jettison's Sinead O'Connor's chair. It's more than classic, it's iconic.
Spinal Tap
Sting bursting through the well wall to save Bart.
