I do not like that

  1. I used to not watch Enterprise because I couldnt get past that intro. I fucking LOVE it now. Its like some sort of parasite that latches on to your brainstem with its mandibles and bends you to its will.

  2. You know, I agree. I anticipated each new episode eagerly when it was originally broadcast. Recently I had the chance to catch some episodes on rerun and found it...cringe-y (?). I just couldn't stay with it. I don't know what happened.

  3. Actually it sounds like it's been a surprisingly and depressingly short road, isn't that what the meme's getting at?

  4. Yeah, the 20 year old shows like Knight Rider and Highlander the series, or Time Trax, or Battlestar Galactica, Seaquest DSV, Babylon 5, Viper, Sliders, and Hercules the Legendary Journeys. Not that new stuff like Stargate or Andromeda or Battlestar Galactica.

  5. "Savor the fruit of life, my young friends. It has a sweet taste when it is fresh from the vine. But don't live too long. The taste turns bitter... after a time." - Kor

  6. Quantum Leap was amazing. I've been finally watching Enterprise and I like it so much. Maybe it was the wrong show for it's time, but it's perfect now. I wish it would have gotten a couple more seasons.

  7. I loved this show, cancelled just after it hit its stride. Such a shame. Yes, prequels are lame and a bit lazy, but this one respected the lore and became a good show with great sci-fi later in its run, and fairly entertaining earlier.

  8. I usually start conversations by proclaiming that TNG is not that old, cos I watched it in real time on TV as a kid, and I end the same conversations crying, realizing I'm old.

  9. When that came out vulcan was not a concept my youngling brain comprehended, so to my folks' joy she was "elf lady"
