Does anyone else experience "palilalia" aka a delayed repetition of words?

  1. Yes, but I also had severe ear infections as a kid. Lack of effective access to ears when young means less development of ability to hear/process audio signal. Adults who had ear infections as children can have ears that function but difficulty hearing. This makes places like open office environments absolutely exhausting hell.

  2. Yes. I do this. I am delayed in speaking. I think way more than what I can formulate to spoken words (not written!). So after realizing I pronounced something wrong (which is common. I'm lucky it can pass off as cute to the right person) the word repeats in my head over and over until I speak it outloud thirty minutes to two hours later Which is my delay time for any executive motor function lmao. My dad has severe echolalia.
