Btw, if anyone has brahmas roosters with bloody legs and lameness, I finally figured it out. It takes some maintenance. He's been to the vet twice for staph infections.
They really are. The boys in particular love attention. Mine could best be described as timid and probably not the best flock protectors. We have a dominant rooster that is half his size but controls the flock.
