  1. You really don't have to spend on a 'diet'. Just keep it as non processed as possible to start, drink a ton of water, just keep it simple. As far as exercise there is a lot you can do with bodyweight. Check out the Boostcamp app. It's free with bodyweight options, beginner programming.

  2. Eat less calories to lose weight. Smaller portions, healthier and less food. It should save money because you are eating less.
