The pattern is modified from Simplicity S8851 C/D. It the skirt portion of the dress with a satin trim waist and snap closure. The bee fabric is a lightweight flannel and the flowers are a cotton; I believe I got them at JoAnns. I started and ended my stitches with a reverse chain but mostly used a running stitch.
It's amazing! And all hand sewn, must have taken forever!
I started on it back in October, put it away for awhile then got it back out last week.
Precious! Love how not only do the colors go well together but the bee/flower contrast gives it a little narrative.
