NASA just bought the rest of the space station crew flights from SpaceX

  1. I recall recently seeing news that NASA was going to allow Crew Dragon to be reused ten times instead of just 5, but trying to Google the article it winds up getting swamped by Falcon 9 reuse news.

  2. The latest info on that is ‘yes’ SpaceX will need to manufacture more dragons, because NASAhas contracted more flights, and I think they don’t want the production line shutdown as planned.

  3. Is there a possibility that Starship could replace dragon for those missions at the end of the decade. I know it’s overkill but I would like to see Starship docked with the ISS at least once.

  4. Acronyms, initialisms, abbreviations, contractions, and other phrases which expand to something larger, that I've seen in this thread:

  5. Maybe it would be advantageous for NASA to specify a the Space-X rocket and have different companies work on the various payload and manned configurations that other firms could design?

  6. The Russians handle refueling with their Progress spacecraft, because the ISS's main propulsion system is in the Russian Zvezda module.
