Handling a tiny Female Redback (Latrodectus hasselti) - Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 (I am not responsible for any stupid mistakes you guys make - including handling medically significant spiders 🙂)

  1. Cute :) ive handled a couple adult females, just to get them out of the way. Its not super smart unless you are careful and know how to do it

  2. Yeah thought it'd be safer to advise against it even tho most people know the risks haha. I'm hoping to find a few adults as it gets warmer. From memory, the last redback i found was an adult female back in 2014. I was out in the country kinda far from a hospital so i didn't handle it
